Summary


Facilitates the recruitment and enrollment of undergraduate and graduate students into the university's programs, coordinating cross-functional efforts to support prospective students through the application and admission processes

Essential Job Functions

  • Organizes, directs, and administers recruitment activities to encourage prospective students to apply to and enroll in the university's programs
  • Initiates contact with potential students and responds to potential student inquiries via phone, email, text, and live chat to encourage enrollment at the university; maintains an in-depth knowledge of the changing academic program offerings in order to share relevant and accurate program information with potential applicants
  • Coaches potential students with the completion and submission of their application and all supporting materials for admission and enrollment
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for prospective students and applicants, coordinating information and services with other members of the enrollment team on the student's or applicant's behalf
  • Connects accepted students with the assigned financial planner and academic advisor to facilitate financial obligations and enrollment in programs; onboards new students with learning platform and first term course selection
  • Collaborates with financial planners to assist accepted students with the completion of forms and documentation necessary to process and approve financial aid or other methods of tuition payment
  • Establishes and maintains collaborative and cooperative relationships with various internal constituencies to resolve student issues, questions and concerns related to admissions and initial enrollment in programs
  • Maintains records of communication with applicants and enrollees in customer relationship management (CRM) per department guidelines
  • Participates in open houses and other recruitment events as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree
  • Experience working in higher education, admissions, sales, recruiting or other related experience


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, education or a related field of study
  • Experience working with international student populations

Qualified candidates must live or relocate within a daily commuting distance of the Providence Campus location upon hire.
