Essential Job Functions
- Supports course development, offers training, and maintains the quality and effectiveness of instructional strategies across various delivery formats, including face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses
- Collaborates with faculty to design and develop new courses and revise existing ones, maintaining they meet university standards and learning outcomes
- Develops and delivers faculty development in the effective application of online tools, course design, instruction, and technology
- Consults with faculty and other department staff on the identification and implementation of appropriate technology and instructional strategies to meet student learning outcomes
- Troubleshoots and resolves matters related to instructional technologies for faculty and staff
- Provides continuous support to faculty by using the learning management system, media tools, and other technologies for teaching
- Identifies and assists in implementing innovative and effective learning techniques
- Monitors online courses to maintain they meet quality standards and deadlines
- Stays abreast of new technologies and strategies related to the implementation of instructional technologies and provides analysis and recommendations for improvement
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a master's degree
- Moderate amount of experience working in instructional design, learning management systems, faculty support, integrating technology into teaching in an educational setting, or other related experience
