Assists with the recruitment of admissions applicants, processes documentation from prospective students and counsels’ students enrolling in the graduate nursing program and related university undergraduate programs

Essential Job Functions
- Pre-screens and compiles applicant files to departmental program directors
- Advises students regarding admissions requirements and prerequisite courses as well as communicates with prospective students regarding the admissions process
- Monitors progress of student candidates through the admissions process and follows up as necessary
- Creates reports to discern applicant progress and understand the enrolled student's status for dissemination to administrators
- Serves as the university’s applicant database liaison
- Utilizes the applicant database to determine the applicant’s status, communications and compiles reports
- Communicates and supports prospective students to maintain complete with their applications, financial aid and enrollment processes
- Plans and supports on-campus programming in partnership with appropriate faculty members and other university departments; as needed
- Represents the university in various recruitment activities, such as; attendance at conferences, fairs, events and marketing, both internally and externally, to assist in the recruitment of new students
- Collaborates with departmental leadership to maintain consistent with outreaches, marketing and programming
- Maintains records of recruitment efforts and applicant correspondence per department guidelines
- Assists in the preparation and monitoring of department budget
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree
- Moderate amount of experience working in communications, marketing, counseling or other related experience
- Valid U.S. driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field of study
- Experience working in the health care industry
