Summary

Oversees and facilitates student recruitment activities for a geographically-defined region to encourage prospective students to apply to and enroll at the university

Essential Job Functions

  • Develops and executes a strategy to administer student recruitment activities (e.g. school visits, college fairs, classroom presentations, information meetings, etc.) within an assigned territory
  • Conducts targeted school visibility in assigned territory
  • Promotes application for and enrollment in the university's academic programs, including the university's on-campus undergraduate, continuing education, graduate school, and online education programs, as applicable
  • Develops and maintains relationships with prospective students, parents, educators and counselors to share information about the university and to encourage and facilitate enrollment through continuous follow up and guidance
  • Conducts group admissions presentations and demonstrations for prospective students and their families
  • Represents the university in various recruiting activities, such as, social media marketing platforms, attendance at conferences, fairs, events and telemarketing, both internal and external, to assist in the recruitment of new students
  • Stays abreast of new academic programs and university initiatives, as well as the university's admission and enrollment policies and processes
  • Maintains records of recruitment efforts and applicant correspondence per department guidelines
  • Assists with various admissions functions and events, as assigned
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of an associate's degree or equivalent formal training program
  • Minimal amount of experience working in admissions, sales, marketing or other related experience
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Must live in or relocate to Southeastern Pennsylvania upon hire

 

Additional Requirements 

  • Ability to travel extensively in designated territory (Southeastern Pennsylvania)
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required throughout the year
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Slate CRM or similar enrollment management systems
  • Experience recruiting students within the Southeastern Pennsylvania market
  • Demonstrated success managing a recruitment territory and meeting enrollment goals
  • Experience building relationships with high schools, counselors, and community partners
  • Familiarity with college fairs, high school visits, and yield events

 

Compensation: $55,000/annualized
