Interprets information and coordinates services for non-hearing students to support their participation in campus life


Essential Job Functions:

  • Interprets information and conveys thoughts and feelings as accurately as possible for non-hearing students in various university situations
  • Coordinates various services for non-hearing students by collaborating with faculty and meeting with non-hearing students
  • Meets with department leaders to determine new ways to contribute to the success of non-hearing students
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of an associate’s degree or completion of an equivalent formal training program


Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or greater in sign language or a related field of study
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends
  • Experience working in higher education
