Summary

Collaborates with faculty and staff on the implementation of instructional technologies for the development and delivery of courses

Essential Job Functions

  • Builds new online master courses
  • Monitors online courses and maintains basic quality requirements
  • Supports faculty in the effective and appropriate use of technology for teaching on-campus, online and hybrid courses, including the use of the university's learning management system, media, collaboration tools and other instructional technologies
  • Develops and conducts training workshops on instructional technology, and creates instructional materials for faculty and staff on the use of instructional technologies
  • Troubleshoots and resolves instructional technology issues for faculty and staff
  • Maintains knowledge of new instructional technologies and features, and informs faculty and staff, as appropriate
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree
  • Experience working with learning management systems, support of technology for teaching and learning or other related experience

 

Please note: 

This is not a fully remote position. This hybrid position will require you to move within a daily commuting distance of the Providence, RI Campus. Work will be conducted in a hybrid setting, being present on campus on an "as needed" basis.

Qualified candidates must live or relocate within a daily commuting distance of the Providence Campus location upon hire.
