Essential Job Functions

  • Maintains student curriculum records and processes program changes
  • Supports reinstatements and campus transfers
  • Sustains degree and diploma record information to determine students' graduation statuses and verifies that student and degree records are accurate
  • Oversees curriculum in report databases and processes reports of errors
  • Communicates curriculum reporting errors and maintains accuracy
  • Monitors curriculum records and processes exceptions such as; course waivers, curriculum adjustments and course substitutions
  • Attends curriculum team meetings
  • Participates in rotations of schedule to staff with call center and front desk duties
  • Reviews submissions for change to student records, reinstatements and/or campus transfers
  • Establishes eligibility for students into their requested program
  • Determines if students’ need to be evaluated for applying common curriculum substitutions and curriculum adjustments
  • Decides the eligibility of reinstatements from previous programs and the impact of the previous curriculums into the new curriculums model
  • Allows students to reinstate into old curriculum to support graduation grades and applying curriculum substitutions
  • Determines if the curriculum record needs to request exceptions to the academic policy and presents these exceptions to departmental and university leadership along with college leadership
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or completion of an equivalent formal training program
  • Minimal amount of experience working in student services, registrar or other related experience

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or greater in business administration, management or a related field of study
  • Experience with Ellucian Banner
  • Experience with DegreeWorks

Qualified candidates must live or relocate within a daily commuting distance of the Providence Campus location upon hire.
