Essential Job Functions

  • Processes new applications and related application documents (i.e. change requests) and enters or scans data into appropriate information system
  • Reviews transcripts for completeness and enters or scans the information into the appropriate information system
  • Answers incoming telephone calls, resolving complex and varied concerns or referring them to other staff members or departments as necessary
  • Organizes files efficiently via the workflow process and to facilitate quick access to records
  • Generates and/or mails outgoing correspondence
  • Provides general information about the university and the admissions process
  • Creates and updates training documents related to the application and enrollment process
  • Supervises and manages student employees, as necessary, to enhance their academic and professional development
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MS Word and Excel
  • Customer service skills

Qualified candidates must live or relocate within a daily commuting distance of the Providence Campus location upon hire.
