Summary

Provides strategic leadership for marketing, communications, admissions, advancement, employer and industry engagement, and community relations at the Charlotte Campus

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Develops strategic plans to drive enrollment, marketing and advertising, increase advancement and further engagement with corporate and community partners
  • Participates in campus strategic goal setting and manages progress towards recruitment, enrollment, and the development of new partnerships and strategic alliances to further campus advancement goals
  • Collaborates with senior leaders and campus departments universitywide to establish programs, services, and initiatives to accomplish goals and oversees progress towards campus goals in admissions, advancement and partnerships
  • Develops partnerships with external corporate and community organizations to grow campus prominence and create innovative programs and services
  • Manages relationships with advertising and marketing agencies and collaborates with university marketing and enrollment departments to align strategies and maximize resources to support brand and enrollment goals
  • Prepares and monitors departmental budget
  • Supervises and develops staff, facilitating professional opportunities to improve individual capability and managing performance against job accountabilities, department goals and established university, campus and department policies and procedures
  • Supervises and manages student employees, as necessary, to enhance their academic and professional development
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a master's degree
  • Significant amount of experience working in marketing, sales/consulting, enrollment, fundraising, or in other related work 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in marketing, leadership, education or a related field of study 

 

Please note: Qualified candidates must live or relocate within a 100 mile radius of the Charlotte Campus location upon hire.
