Prepares and updates reports tables and databases on student academic and financial data, maintaining the integrity of student records in accordance with regulations and standards

Essential Job Functions

  • Creates and runs student data reports to facilitate and/or monitor department operations
  • Develops solutions for data requests based on needs of the area including producing reports and databases which meet specified criteria
  • Creates and tests end-user reports
  • Monitors student information and reports that information to the appropriate departments (e.g. student academic services, admissions)
  • Assists in software implementations, upgrades and training programs
  • Researches and responds to questions or concerns and appropriately documents interactions
  • Delivers reports to third party organizations that contract with the university (e.g. the university's health insurance provider)
  • Provides technology support to departmental staff and other departments relative to running student data reports
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree
  • Experience working in computer reporting or other related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business information systems or a related field of study
  • Experience using Salesforce and Banner Reports
